16th Snow

We got a light dusting of snow yesterday evening (Saturday 1/28/2023). It stopped before midnight. Looks like about 1/4" at the most.

However, just for clarification, that's on top of about 12" of snow that fell last month in December and never melted.

The Innocent Man

I liked this one song they played in the movie "The Innocent Man" on Netflix. Debbie and Denise Episode 1. 1:25.

This song The Number of the Beast was an acoustic remake of Iron Maiden's
"The Number of the Beast" by Djali Zwan.

I left alone
my mind was blank
What did I see?
Can I believe?
That what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy?

15th Snow

So, it's snowing at 3:00 a.m. 1/23/2023. Not sure how much we'll get. I've got the clear plastic snow-measuring bin in the front yard, so I'll check it later, as it's supposed to stop snowing later this morning.

Update: It snowed 1 3/4" (1.75") last night (technically this morning). So, 15th Snow = 1.75" on 1/23/2023 from 3:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

13th Snow

So today (Friday 1/20/23) we're getting our 13th snow of the season. It started today at about 12:00 noon. I have the plastic bin in the front yard to get an official measurement. But I'm not going to measure it just yet as it's still snowing lightly and it's only 6:00 pm.

OK. It stopped snowing by 6:00 p.m. and we only got 1" of snow this time. More snow coming on Sun-Mon.

Update Wed 1/18/23: We ended up getting about 7" of snow. On top of the snow that was already there, the front yard has about 17.5" of snow.

11th Snow

Last night through this morning (1/15/2023 - 1/16/2023), we got our 11th snow of the season. About 1/2" of snow on top of what was left in the yard from the 9th snow that was only partially melted. Still snowing and more coming later this morning, it appears. There's not really any conditions that would allow any of the snow to melt, at this point. High today is supposed to be 40°F. So, the yard is covered in about 10" of snow, depending on where you measure.

We're supposed to get more now tomorrow (Tue) and Wed.

Pearl Climbs a Tree

So today (Thr Jan 12th, 2023), Pearl climbed one of the pine trees in the front yard and wouldn't come down. At first, I got in the Jeep, rode to Evergreen Lake, and walked around for a bit to give her some time to climb down. But, when I got home, she was still in the tree. So I told Mark I was going to try to get her down and I tried to climb up the tree to get her, but that only made her climb higher. So, I gave up, and went inside. 3 hours later, she came walking inside with Prince Tubby like it was not a big deal. I immediately locked her and Prince Tubby inside so that no one could get back in the tree. We've got some snow in the forecast, and I don't need it to start snowing with my cats roaming free.

10th Snow

Last night through this morning (1/10/2023 - 1/11/2023), we got our 10th snow of the season. About 1/2" of snow on top of what was left in the yard from the 9th snow that was only partially melted. Still snowing and more coming later this morning, it appears. There's not really any conditions that would allow any of the snow to melt, at this point. High today is supposed to be 23°F. So, the yard is covered in about 6" - 9" of snow, depending on where you measure.
