The Mandelbrot Set Revisited

One of the earliest computer programs I wrote was a BASIC program on a TRS-80 Color Computer to graph out the Mandelbrot set in two dimensions. This would have been in probably 1982 or 1983, so it was over a quarter of a century ago. Now some people are trying to extend the two dimensional equations into three dimensions and they're getting some pretty cool results.
