Today, Margie took me into Evergreen at around 5:30 pm and I picked up the Africa Twin from B&B Cycles. It has a new back tire on it now. And we rode back through Marshdale, me following her, and watching for deer. The temperature was about 44° F. We came up on a herd of about 4 deer on the shoulder, but fortunately they stayed on the shoulder.
My other project for today was to start trying to get the Jeep Wrangler TJ running. So, I've got the battery on the charger. Hoping to get the Jeep running, and then get the plates current on it maybe on Monday.
The BMW X3 is running and the plates on it are current, but I need to get it into the shop because I think the water pump isn't working as it's running hot.
Vehicle Status:
- Honda Africa Twin - Running. Plates are current.
- Honda XR650L - Running. Plates are current.
- Chevy Tahoe - Running. Plates are current. Leaking anti-freeze.
- M101-A1 U.S. Army Trailer - No issues with trailer. Plates are current.
- Green Honda Rancher ATV - Running. Needs new OHV sticker. I'm watching the mail for my OHV permit, but have the temporary one in my wallet in the meantime.
- KTM 990 - Plates are current. Haven't tried starting it yet.
- BMW X3 - Running, but runs hot. Needs emissions test for new plates.
- Jeep Wrangler TJ - Battery is charging. Plates are expired.
Tonight is JJ and Raquel's Halloween Party, so I've got to get ready for that, but I'm waiting on some clothes in the dryer before I can head over.
