Rollins Pass

So today, it stopped raining at some point, so I figured I'd try to run up Rollins Pass. This is the same pass as Corona Pass, but approach is from the East instead of the West. I went through Apex, the old ghost town. Then up County Road 4N to Tolland, CO, then west on County Road 16 (Tolland Road) to County Road 117.

Once you turn off of County Road 16, it's approximately 10 miles/35 minutes to Yankee Doodle Lake. The road is rough. Poorly maintained. And I wasn't able to make it to Needle Eye Tunnel, as the road is still snowed in above Yankee Doodle Lake. In July.

The road is so rough that I saw a Jeep with the front wheel torn off.

My route looked something like this.
