KTM cutting out

This year, I noticed a problem with the KTM. I might have had this problem before, I can't really recall for sure. But basically, after I've been riding for a while, I notice that the bike is cutting out. Like, if you dump on the throttle, it's just not there. When it should jump up and run like a scalded dog, instead, it just sort of sputters and limps along. Eventually, I have to stop, or sometimes it just goes away.

I've tried various things to solve this issue. I'm not clear what it causing it, obviously. I was thinking it was bad gas or maybe it was overheating. I could never decide what was triggering it, really. And, the weirdest thing is that, if I pull the clutch in, then the bike runs fine. It will tach right up. But as soon as I let out the clutch, it starts sputtering and acting like it wants to die.

Finally, I decided to try something different. I decided that, when it started cutting out, I'd turn off the ignition, and then restart the engine to see if that fixed the problem. Yesterday, I did this and, surprisingly, it solved the problem. Like, I'm not saying it isn't still an issue, but I don't scratch my head and wonder if the engine is overheating, or the fuel filters are clogged, or the air filters are clogged. Turning then engine off and back on, while riding down the road, makes the problem go away immediately, so therefore, it's something wrong with the computer and or the sensors, it seems to me.

I will try to contact KTM and see what their thoughts are on this issue. In the mean time, I'll try researching in on the intertubes. Seems like I'm not the only one having this problem.

Update: Yesterday and today (5/7 and 5/8/16), I noticed that the problem did not occur. On both of these days, it was freezing cold, and the temperature bar/indicator never got above the 1/2 way mark. So, when it's cold, this isn't occurring. That makes me think it's not related to the battery at all. I think it's occurring when the bike gets hot, for whatever reason.

I wonder if your issues is related to an air intake temp sensor? I know nothing about your honda but I know on diesel motors, you can manipulate this sensor to affect the fuel input.
