My New Video Card

Shown above is an Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4600 graphics card. This is what Nvidia says about the video card's GPU:

GeForce4 Ti 4600
Vertices per Second:136 Million
Fill Rate: 4.8 Billion AA Samples/Sec
Operations per Second: 1.23 Trillion
Memory Bandwidth: 10.4GB/Sec.
Maximum Memory: 128MB

And maybe 136 Million verticles per second seems like a lot of verticles (whatever they are). Maybe 1.23 trilliion operations per second sounds fast. But I just bought Jennifer a video game that won't even run on this brick. That's right. This is my old video card. Spore won't even run on it. Somehow, that just seems absurd to me.

My new card, incidentally, is an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro with 256 Megs of RAM.
