Odd he would say that. The "Pursuit of happiness" is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence, but not the Constitution. But then, it's a common error.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
FYI: It was Ben's 300th birthday last week (January 17, 1706).
