No Christmas For You

If you're sick and tired of the ACLU and the bleeding hearts trying to take the religion out of Christmas, you are, apparently, not alone. No Christmas For You. Audio not safe for work.

Even as a die-hard atheist who celebrates Gravmas myself, I find the efforts to water down Christmas disturbing.

Out of all the things the government does, putting a nativity scene in front of city hall during December is near the bottom of my list of things to worry about.

If people are so Allah damned offended by the concept of Christmas, let's get rid of the holiday. No day off for government workers. No closing of government schools. Etc.

As for the claims by the ACLU that they do this kind of crap to protect the constitution, remember what their president said in an interview in the October 1994 issue of Reason magazine:

"I don't want to dwell on constitutional analysis, because our view has never been that civil liberties are necessarily coextensive with constitutional rights. Conversely, I guess the fact that something is mentioned in the Constitution doesn't necessarily mean that it is a fundamental civil liberty."

The United States needs an American Civil Liberties Union. It's too bad we don't have one.

as a die-hard

I would also like to point out that Die Hard is one of the best Christmas movies of all time (along with Lethal Weapon).

ACLU Secret Prisons EXPOSED!!!!!!
by kender on 12-19-05 @ 6:55 am Filed under Humor, Christmas

This reporter has learned from a source that demands anonymity that the ACLU has SECRET PRISONS in Canada and is holding Santa Claus as a suspected Spreader of Good Cheer.
The anonymous source, one of several escapees from this secret ACLU prison, claims that the ACLU sent mercenary lawyers armed with arrest warrants and a small squad of Canadian Mounties to the North Pole Hideout of Santa Claus, AKA St. Nick, AKA The Jolly Old Elf, sometime in late june and raided his compound, arresting everyone inside.

Our source, along with several other accomplices of Mr. Kringle, and Kringle himself, were taken to this secret prison and held for weeks in “dark rooms that resemble those of Motel6″ and forced to watch “broadcast networks” as cable and satellite were not provided. Our source also complained of not having access to hot cocoa and gingerbread, stating “Hot cocoa and gingerbread are what Mrs. Claus makes for our breaks everyday, and to deprive us of this is torture.”

This reporter has learned that several of the escapees have been captured by American Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, which means they will soon be looking for work outside of a home improvement center near you. The ACLU is rumored to have released the remainder of “Santa’s Elves” as the gang of diminutive accomplices is known, due to the fact that they couldn’t prove U.S. citizenship and claimed they have a “right to work.”

The ACLU has not returned calls, and in a press release claimed that no such prison exists.

More on this story as it develops.
