SF Prepares to Devour Its Citizens

The City of San Francisco, in a misguided attempt to reduce homocides in the city, will vote on a referendum this November that will disarm all of its citizens, except for police, rent-a-pigs, and the politically well-connected like Diane Feinstein. That's right. In a city with 10 concealed carry permits, she is the proud owner of SF's concealed carry permit #0001. At least she's not a hypocrite, right? All people are created equal, but some are apparently more equal than others.

But if you disagree with the city for denying its citizens the fundamental right to self defense, you have to respect the city for their ability to think outside the box...outside the federal and state constitutions, even. And their tenacity can't be questioned either. It isn't like the city hasn't tried this stunt before.

Cinnamon is right on track when she poses the question "Does the famously liberal leadership of San Francisco really want to place itself in the position of breaking down doors and forcibly disarming law-abiding citizens?"

Molon Labe - "Come and take them."

From the other coast comes this:

A few people sent me this link, or different links about the same story:

A New Jersey state assemblyman has introduced a bill that would allow the government to seize the home or car of anyone whose property contains an illegal firearm.

The legislation, sponsored by Assemblyman Louis Manzo, D-Jersey City, authorizes the forfeiture of “motor vehicle, building or premise” if a firearm is found in it that is not possessed legally per state law – “even if the firearm was not possessed by the owner of the motor vehicle, building or premise,” states a summary of the bill, A3998. The legislation was introduced Thursday.

Manzo pointed out his bill extends government power now reserved for targeting those in possession of illegal drugs.

“If we will do this when someone is caught with illegal drugs, it only makes sense that we should do it for when someone has an illegal weapon,” Manzo told the Hudson Reporter.

“We currently allow this to take place when illegal drugs are found. This is to keep a landlord or someone driving the car from turning a blind eye to the drugs people in an apartment or passenger in the car is doing,” he said. “I think if a landlord knows there is an illegal gun in the house, he or she should do something about it. And this may encourage someone driving a car to keep a person from carrying a gun.”

Under the proposed law, an unlicensed machine gun, handgun, rifle or shotgun are considered illegal.

Now, some people are going to ask: “Why no RCOB moment from Kim about this blatantly fucking un-Constitutional proposal?”

Simple answer: it didn’t happen in the United States of America, but in New Jersey.

For some time now, I have become indifferent to what the socialist lawmakers do in New Jersey, California, Massachusetts, New York and, of course, Illinois. Quite frankly, I don’t care what they do anymore—their greed, stupidity and bossiness seems to know no bounds, and each election year, the citizens of the various states file into the polling booths and vote them back into power.

When the Department of Justice issues a public statement that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to own a gun, when 35 states pass nondiscretionary carry permit laws, when New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof declares that “gun control is dead,” you know the gun debate is over.

But somebody forgot to tell the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and Pizza Hut. Fresh from championing the rights of gays and lesbians to get married, San Francisco’s supervisors are trying to curb the rights of all city residents to keep handguns in their homes. Meanwhile, major American corporations such as Pizza Hut and AOL forbid employees to bring even legally owned and transported guns onto company property or to carry them on the job. Pizza Hut recently fired an employee for carrying a gun while delivering pizzas; the company learned of the violation when the employee used the gun on the job to defend himself during a robbery attempt.
