Saturday, Feb 1st 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Hope to see you at Barr Lake State Park's 8th Annual Eagle Fest! There will be crafts for the kids and a live raptor presentation that everyone will enjoy. Weather permitting, take a ride on the Eagle Express to and from the gazebo. Kids can join a Naturalist for Build It Big!, constructing a life-sized replica of a Bald eagle nest.
Schedule:
• Guided hike (3 miles roundtrip) 10 a.m. starting at Nature Center
• Bald eagle presentations at 12 p.m., 12:30pm and 1pm at Nature Center (first-come first-served. Line will form)
• Eagle express rides starting at 9 a.m.-1 p.m. every 15 minutes
• Kids crafts 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Nature Center
• Build It Big! 11 a.m. at Nature Center
• Presentation by Bird Conservancy of the Rockies: 11:30 a.m. at the Nature Center
This event is free with your daily park pass or annual Colorado State Parks pass.

Kobe Bryant
I used to work in L.A., and I bounced back and forth between LAX, ONT, DEN, and Oakland like a ping pong ball in a dryer. So, when they said that Kobe Bryant crashed, I was curious as to where, exactly, he crashed. Eventually, I figured out where he went down. It was south of the 101. North of Malibu. East of Las Virgenes Road. Just east of the Calabasas Bark Park.
When I was consulting at UCLA, I'd occasionally ride the KTM down Sunset Blvd to Duke's Canoe Club down in Malibu. (I used to frequent Duke's Canoe Club in Honolulu, also). So, in any event, I figured that he went down somewhere north of Malibu. so I searched to see if I could locate where, exactly, he went down.
This map has a couple of Kobe Bryant Memorial Zones where Kobe Bryant is reported to have crashed.

Going Through Old GoPro VIdeos
Last night, I was watching my GoPro videos from Panama and now, I can't find them. One of these days I'm going to have to get organized. But, part of the problem is that the "Date taken" field isn't populated with any data. At all. So, that makes it more challenging.
OK. I found my videos. They're on an external backup drive:
F:\2018_01_02_GoPro_Videos
They all have a "Date" and "Date_Created" of 1/3/2018, and a date/time stamp from 5:00 a.m. - 6:30 a.m. So, it looks like I got up on 1/3/2018 and ran a backup of my macbook air, exporting these photos to an external Seagate Backup Plus Drive.

A new type of immune cell which kills most cancers has been discovered by accident by British scientists, in a finding which could herald a major breakthrough in treatment.
Researchers at Cardiff University were analysing blood from a bank in Wales, looking for immune cells that could fight bacteria, when they found an entirely new type of T-cell.
That new immune cell carries a never-before-seen receptor which acts like a grappling hook, latching on to most human cancers, while ignoring healthy cells.
In laboratory studies, immune cells equipped with the new receptor were shown to kill lung, skin, blood, colon, breast, bone, prostate, ovarian, kidney and cervical cancer.

For those who are unaware, a deranged leftist private messaged me a homicidal rant where he bragged about murdering 11 elderly Trump voters in his care at a medical facility. He did this out of nowhere because he was angered by a meme that I posted which the mods stickied here. I saw that his account was old and had a lot of activity (not a fake troll account made minutes ago) and it was full of anti-Trump and anti-white rants and calls to violence. So I exposed the message, shared it around and eventually his real identity and employer were discovered. It turns out he DOES work for a medical facility, making his claims of murder via malpractice even more plausible.
His employer (and the FBI) are apparently investigating now, but it has been 48 hours with no updates from the employer or anyone else. Could you imagine if the tables were turned and a white doctor publicly fantasized about (or actually did) murder 11 black patients in his care to stop them from voting Democrat?
DO NOT LET THIS MEMORY HOLE. Please demand answers and share the story with non-leftist media. Infowars and the National File have already covered it, various people have shared it on Twitter including Stefan Molyneux, Ann Coulter and others. But the left wants to wait this story out and let it memory hole. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN!
