The Secret Service? Seriously?

I just had the Secret Service come by and check me out. Why? Because I was audacious enough to ask for Press Credentials for when President Bush was in town yesterday. Apparently, they thought that I had done something wrong. I told them I'd done nothing wrong and to speak to my attorney. They left, but who knows what those nimrods will do next. So much for living in a free society.

They have to be careful. There are a lot of lunatics out there who might try to use a press pass to get their picture taken with George W.

Everyone knows that photographers are agents of terrorism. "Al Qaeda would love to buy your pictures. So I want to know if you are in cahoots with al Qaeda to sell these pictures to them for terrorist purpose. That's a crime."

According to (then) CNN anchor Rick Sanchez, L.A. County Sheriff's Deputy Richard Gylfie (#2955) is a "hero" for what he did.
