CV, you would have liked this one. One truly insane ride. I'm watching Long Way Round. These guys spent more time planning their trip than they spent on the trip. I say...less time planning = more time in the saddle. Giddy yup. I never knew from one night to the next where I'd spend the night. They canceled my credit card once I got to Alaska, just to fvck me as hard as possible, I think. Fortunately, I had cash. Planning is a waste of time. It's just a way of postponing what you really need to be doing. riding... :)

well its been great to read. the most spontaneous thing i do is an occasional drive over guanella pass by myself. livin in the burbs kind of sucks......i envy your freedom to just go and do things. so keep writing and i'll live vicariously.
